2. What data we collect

Contact details you give us voluntarily when you write through the form, by email, WhatsApp or phone: name, email address, phone number, stay dates and the content of your message.

Technical browsing data collected via strictly necessary technical cookies (see the Cookie Policy). We do not use profiling cookies.

3. Why we process data and on what legal basis

To answer your enquiries and manage any bookings: legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

To comply with legal, tax and administrative obligations connected to hospitality activity (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

For optional newsletter subscription: only with your free and revocable consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR).

4. Processing and retention

Data is processed with IT tools and organisational measures suitable to ensure its security and confidentiality.

We keep data for the time needed for the purposes for which it was collected and within statutory limits: contact requests not leading to a booking are kept for up to 24 months; data linked to a booking for the tax and civil-law periods required (typically 10 years).

5. Who we share data with

Data may be processed by service providers acting as data processors, including: the contact form delivery service (FormSubmit), booking platforms (Booking.com, Airbnb), Google services (Google Maps) and, if you contact us via WhatsApp, Meta Platforms.

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Transfer of data outside the EU

Some providers (e.g. Google, Meta) may process data outside the European Union. In such cases the transfer is based on adequate safeguards under Art. 44 ff. GDPR, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your rights

You may exercise at any time the rights under Art. 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as withdrawal of any consent given.

To exercise them, write to info@casapasserini.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
